Product Description
In this PowerPoint your students will review melodic and rhythmic concepts while working on their music memory.

First, they will review the song "Ickle, Ockle"
* singing on text
* singing on rhythm syllables
* singing on solfége

This is great for
* reviewing rhythms: ta & ti-ti and quarter rest
* reviewing solfége: so-mi-la

Then, slide by slide an animated fish "eats" a beat or two, thus removing those specifc beats from the song. This continues until all the beats of the song are gone and the students are singing the song from memory. Each time, a little crab comes out and challenges the students to sing the song in its entirety, including the missing beats. The students LOVE this activity, all the while they are building their musical memory and inner-hearing skills.

Ths song notation and singing game directions are also included!
