What educators are saying

What a great activity! I did this activity the first week of school and it helped me to make connections with my students. Their icosahedrons are now hanging up around my classroom!
This was the best way to get to know my students when they finally got to return to school in person.

IcosaMEdron is an icosahedron all about you!

Students will answer question prompts about their favorite things using words or pictures.

Then, they will cut out and glue the flaps together to create the 3D shape!

Encourage your students to share their IcosaMEdron with others or the whole class as a get to know you activity for the first week of school.

You could go around the room and have each student to "roll" their IcosaMEdron like a 20-sided die and whatever side it lands on they must share with the class.

You could also attach the IcosaMEdron to strings and hang them from the ceiling to decorate your classroom.

Your download includes a total of six different printing options.

You can choose between a large size which requires you to attach two pages together, or a small size which is contained on a single page.

Three different versions of each size are included in case you want a blank shape or if you don't want the directions or question prompts on the page.

Try this unique get to know you activity in your classroom today!
