A six traits of writing lesson plan focused in on the area of ideas. Specifically, showing ideas through the use of detail in reading and writing. Explore a modified (and much easier to read) version of H.G. Wells classic The Time Machine and his use of character details to show his ideas.
Included in this is a scripted lesson plan, objectives, aligned standards, scaffolded lesson set up, and a few extension activities to get the most out the of the lesson.
This lesson could also be used as part of a novel study or literature circle!
