Click on the following blog link I wrote for Scholastic to understand how I used this resource in detail.
Name That Source Version- Print multiple copies
of BINGO cards for each student, and select a
question category question for the class. After
reading the question card, groups have two
minutes, 30 seconds to answer it and ID the
source using a basket full of references (e.g. almanac, thesaurus, dictionary, etc.). A question such as “How many countries
border Libya?” would be correctly answered with
“atlas” and the names of the countries to be
counted correctly. If correct, the source will
be recorded on the BINGO card and the student
selects a spot under the correct header.
For the secondary version, it is played in a
similar manner with the exception of students
placing their chip under the correct category
Continue to play until one group wins (either 4
in a row or blackout). An empty template is
included for you to modify as needed.
