As students with disabilities start preparing for the transition to adulthood, it is important to cover key life skills. These key skills include maintaining one’s home, job skills, money skills, etc. Being able to identify cleaning tools is both an important life and work skill. The following assessment allows a teacher to see if students can identify different cleaning tools used at both home and work. It can be administered to a large group or one on one. This assessment can be used on its own but also can be used as a pre-test for the Cleaning Tools curriculum found in my Teachers Pay Teachers store. The first page of the packet is the pre-test. The second and third pages are the directions for group and one on one administration, the fourth page is the answer key and the fifth page allows you to track which tools each student can identify. Super easy, just print and go!
