I created the Identifying Decimal Fractions Gallery Walk Activity when teaching the 4.NF.5 standard.
The purpose of this activity is to encourage the students to thinking about decimal fractions with the aid of specific questions.
The students walk around the room evaluating and thinking about whether a question is true or false. During or after the walk the students complete a sheet with the same questions, they then have a debriefing time with the teacher (Suggested questions are included) and then students place the decimal fractions on number lines.
