This product was created to reinforce or assess students’ understanding of what indicates whether or not two linear equations are parallel. There are three versions with this product, so they may be used as desired.
The versions are cut apart, given to the students and the students circle equations that are parallel to a given equation and students draw a rectangle around equations that are parallel to another equation.
Alternatively, the student may be asked to cut the equations apart and sort them in piles of equations that are parallel to each other.
