Identifying Fractions on a Number Line I Have Who Has Game

Do your students need to practice identifying fractions on a number line? I Have … Who Has…? Is a fun whole class activity for practicing just that! This game will help your students to review how to identify fractions using a number line model. There are 28 cards and an answer key for you to follow along and verify their answers during the game.
This activity could also be modified to use in a small group by giving students several cards to play along with.

Identifying Fractions on a Number Line I Have Who Has Game Directions

• I Have…Who Has…? is a whole class game.
• You need the set of 28 cards (print on cardstock and laminate for durability) and the answer sheet to follow along.
• Pass out a card to each student – (if you have extra cards, give some students 2 cards).
• The player with the first card (or the teacher) reads that card out loud.
• The person with the number line that matches that fraction reads their card.
• Play continues until the last card is reached.
• You might want to time the game and strive to increase the speed in which all the cards are gone through.
