Function or Not a Function? Your students will love this engaging and challenging sort with a fun Comic Book Theme.
There are 24 relations which your students will sort as FUNCTION or NOT a FUNCTION. Problems include a mix of graphs, mappings, ordered pairs, equations, and tables. Students cut and paste the relations onto organizers which are designed with a fun, comic book theme. There is also an explanation sheet for them to explain their choices. Students can decorate the organizers and explanation sheet when done or as they are working. Hanging the organizers to show off your students creativity is a fun option for you, too.
For those of you who use interactive Notebooks, I have also included INB envelopes for your students to paste into their notebooks. After cutting the relations into squares they can use the envelopes to sort. Shown with colored paper.
Also included is an additional handout with 16 questions
which can be used for HW, assessment, or enrichment.
