Share

Description

This Power Point lesson is 14 slides and is CCSS-aligned (6.EE.7). It takes students through how to identify patterns in x-y tables given various sequences and turning that pattern into an algebraic equation. 2 examples, 2 guided practice, 2 independent practice.

Although this aligns with 6th grade CCSS, these lessons could be used for 7th or even 8th grade students studying the same concepts.

Good as a basic introduction; all sequences are positive integers. Could also be used as a review or remediation tool.

NOT a unit, an assessment, group work/cooperative learning, or homework.

Requires only basic knowledge of Power Point.
