Identifying Root Words and Sufixes

This is a short worksheet to help students understand word parts - roots and suffixes. Students use the sheet as they are reading. While they are reading, they record root words that contain suffixes and break the words apart. They they use their knowledge of roots and suffixes and the context clues to write a definition for the word.
