Do your students enjoy reality television? Mine do! Last year, my students requested that I make a grammar worksheet wish sentences specifically about the show My Strange Addiction. Always eager to comply when my students ask for work, I ran home that very night and came up with this document.
When students complete this page, they will be identifying simple, compound, complex, and compound-complex sentences while enjoying humorous sentences about people's real-life strange addictions. The second part of the assignment asks students to correctly punctuate each sentence type, and the third section requires them to write a paragraph of their own using all four of the sentence types.
My students thoroughly enjoyed this assignment, and I hope yours do, too!
