THIS is the notetaking guide that teaches the PROCESS! Finding the topic is easy, main idea is hardest, and supporting quotes may or may not be supportive. Even-out students' skills in these areas with these practice pages.
Students will read ANY non-fiction text (article and/or book). Then they will use tips, guiding questions, and sentence starters to note the topic/main idea/details. After a few times, these skills should become second-nature to them!
Designed for multiple uses, multi-use. Teachers/students choose the texts.
