Students have so much trouble remembering the many types of angles in their geometry class! So these 48 flash cards are designed to help them better distinguish and learn such angles as acute, obtuse, vertical, complementary, alternate interior, and more. All together there are 16 angles, and students must match each name with its definition and picture. This matching activity can be done alone or in a math center, or as a whole class activity. When students work together they speak the words and discuss the definitions, taking their learning to a higher level. After they have correctly matched the cards, they can copy the angles and names to reinforce their learning and create notes for themselves. However you choose to use these flash cards, your students will learn more and have fun in the process! - Created by Judy Seki, "Math in a Flash!"
