My amazing students that started identifying dynamics when they were in kindergarten are now in third grade! Last year they spent a lot of time sorting them and understanding how to use dynamics in their performances. They are rock stars at identifying dynamics but now it's time to get them working on knowing the dynamics by their Italian name in addition to the English translation.
This is a pretty basic worksheet that reinforces knowing both translations of the dynamics. After reviewing the Dynamics PowerPoint lesson (http://www.teacherspayteachers.com/Product/A-Lesson-in-Dynamics-PowerPoint-913809) students can complete this as an exit ticket or a homework assignment. This also works well for an assessment.
