2.G.A.1 Recognize and draw shapes having specified attributes, such as a given number of angles or a given number of equal faces. Identify triangles, quadrilaterals, pentagons, hexagons, and cubes
The students will be required to name and draw shapes based on sight and description. Students will also label the side, face, and vertex of a given shape. Included is an activity sheet which can double as a study guide.
7 Shapes addressed by the standard: triangle, quadrilaterals (square, rectangle, and trapezoid), pentagon, hexagon, and cube.
This assessment contains:
- One Shape Match and Labeling activity sheet.
- One 10-question pre-assessment with answer key. Each item is worth 10 points;
- One 20-question post-assessment* with answer key. Each item is worth 5 points
*the post-assessment includes one short answer question with a grading rubric and the answer key has sample student answers.
