Description of the activity:
Students pull out the parts of the scientific method within 3 reading passages that each explain an experimental design from historian scientists Redi, Pasteur, and Galileo.
Students are asked to read the passage and then identify the problem, hypothesis, independent variable, dependent variable, constants, and conclusion.
There is also a building vocabulary section where students work on the vocabulary words: independent variable, dependent variable, constants, problem, hypothesis, and conclusion.
How it’s differentiated
Differentiation is identified by colored shapes on the bottom of each worksheet. Task cards are identified by colored border.
