Idioms are great way to teach language arts.
This idiom book template allows students to first illustrate the literal interpretation of the idiom, then they define and illustrate them.
For example: For the idiom "Like Two Peas in a Pod" the student would first make a literal drawing that shows two peas in a pod. Then the student would write down what the idiom actually means, followed by a sentence using the idiom.
Currently, this a free resource with 22 idiom pages that could be folded into an idiom book. There will eventually be over 40 pages in this idiom book.
I will be adding more idioms to this idiom book in the near future.
Don't forget to click on the *follow me* button at the top of the page! I often place products for free or at a discount as I further develop them.
