Product Description
Your students will love studying figurative language by creating their own page(s) in an idiom book! Each page of the book has a different idiom. Students draw the literal and figurative meaning of the idiom then describe the idiom in words. 31different idioms are covered in the book, with a blank page included to write in your own if you wish.

Print each student their own book to work on independently as a long term project, or give each student one page to complete for a class idiom book. Four versions of a cover page are also included with ways to personalize for your class or for individual students. Your students will feel like published authors!

Also included in this product is a worksheet where students identify and analyze 8 different idioms, as well as a notes sheet for student reference. All of the idioms on the worksheet and notes sheet are different from the idioms in the book. Students can glue the notes sheet in their notebooks or you can print and hang as a poster in your classroom.

This entire product covers 42 different idioms! The prep to create this beautiful project is minimal and students will have a blast creating the pages. Laminate each student page, hole punch, and put in a binder to keep your class book in your classroom library for a long time to come!
