Posters and file folder game puzzles to help teach your students about idioms.
The sets of idiom posters comes in color and black and white. Help student learn about common idioms with these posters. There are 64 idioms included. Each poster has an illustration, the idiom, meaning, and an example. Also included are graphic organizers for students to write and draw examples of idioms.
Use the idiom posters as a word of the week or word of the day. They would also work well put together as a book for students to reference when they are writing.
For the file folder game students match a puzzle piece with the meaning of the idiom. The puzzle pieces are self correcting. The game board is available in color and black and white. Recording sheets are also included.
