Introducing or reviewing idioms with your students? Looking for ways to reinforce how/why idioms are used and what they mean? This product is for you!
This product includes a two-sided sheet to introduce/review what idioms are and how they're used. Students will complete notes in a scaffolded format, and will then practice defining idioms and using them in in-context sentences. Finally, students are also asked to identify which idioms match a series of given phrases.
An answer key is included, and is great for displaying during the note-taking process.
This product also includes a list of several lesson/activity ideas to reinforce what idioms are and when/why/how they're used. These activities are all low- or no-prep, and all will promote a greater understanding of idioms.
