Description

Your little pirates will learn what those "crazy sayings" mean as they play these Idiom pirate games. The English language is so full of idioms that without a true understanding of their meanings, comprehension breaks down. Our ESOL students as well as our students of poverty have an overwhelming stuggle with vocabulary which included the knowledge of what idioms really mean. The following are included:
*4 literacy center card games
*1 treasure map game board
*60 idiom / meaning cards
Colorful clipart used to engage students, and these cards are divided into three setS.
