Product Description
Looking for a super fun way to introduce your students to idioms? This four week activity consists of four separate charts created using Google Docs. Each chart will introduce your students to 10 idioms per week (40 idioms in all). Each week, your students will receive a chart with ten different idioms, a visual image representing the literal meaning of the idiom (students love these funny images), a definition of the figurative meaning, an example of the idiom used in a sentence, and a space for the student to create their own sentences using the idiom.

The charts are presented on Google Docs and are perfect for the 1:1 Classroom or any classrooms that have access to devices in the classroom. If necessary, once you open the document, you can print the pages to deliver to any student (or class) that would be better suited with a paper version of this journal. One suggestion would be to make the font smaller if you choose to print to avoid printing multiple pages. Currently, the font is 16 and 18 which is great for student viewing on devices.

These four charts can be delivered to your students in many different ways. I prefer to share digital assignments via Google Classroom. Please check out the following websites to learn more about G Suite for Education and Google Classroom. These tools have revolutionized they way I share information with my students.

Once the product is purchased, you will download a document that shares four links to each of the four charts. You will “make a copy” of the Google Doc and add it to your drive. The most awesome thing about this is once you “make a copy” the document is completely editable!
