Their is a book that contains 10 pages in which students will see a picture, read a sentence that contains an idiom, and be required to use context clues to figure out the meaning of the unknown word. The assessment piece requires students to use context clues to determine the meaning of word phrases. It also requires students to distinguish literal from non-literal language.
