This powerpoint is a great addition to your lessons about Idioms.
I use it twice a year: Valentine's Day and Mother's Day.
However, it can be used anytime of the year.
There are 16 Idioms with definitions and examples- all related to the heart. There is a quiz at the end, along with the answer key.
Idioms included are:
★ Cross My Heart and Hope to Die
★ From the Bottom of My Heart
★ Have a Soft Spot in My Heart
★ Pour Your Heart Out
★ Young at Heart
★ Not Have the Heart to do Something
★ Tug at Your Heartstrings
★ Wear Your Heart on Your Sleeve
★ Have a Heart-to-Heart
★ Heart of Gold
★ With a Heavy Heart
★ Know by Heart
★ Apple of Your Eye
★ Head Over Heels
★ Heart in the Right Place
