Cut apart the squares and challenge students to unscramble the letters in the French expressions and then match them to the English equivalent. They will know they are correct if they can successfully rebuild the rectangle (not some off shape). A good partner activity. Does require all the pieces to be cut apart.
The second slide could be modified to make answer key for quick checking of student work, but I generally find that I prefer to check their work by reading some of their matched sentences and haven't yet used the key.
