Cause and effect is a concept that students need to learn in Language Arts. This activity is all about understanding “If – Then” statements, which is an example of cause and effect. This activity explains “If – Then” statements, and then allows students to practice doing a few. They are asked to cut and match “If – Then” statements. Once it is matched together, the sentence should make sense, and the students paste the completed sentence.
