This Reader's Theater is based on the funny book If You Ever Want to Bring a Pirate to Meet Santa, DON'T! Written by Elise Parsley, this book tells about a child who takes a pirate to meet Santa and decides that it really wasn't a good idea after all!

There are roles for four students, but you may assign two students to a role, assign each student in class a line, etc. Do whatever you need to do so that this script best fits the needs of your class.

Headbands/necklaces are included, as well as instructions on how I have used them in the past.

AR Book Level: 3.5
