Articulation or Phonological Awareness: Practice /d/ in the initial, medial, or final position with these delicious playing cards. 36 cards included. These can be used for articulation drills or phonological awareness activities.
If You Give a Kid a Direction… Practice following conditional directions with this card game. Student draws a card and performs a direction. If performed correctly student keeps card, student with the most cards at the end wins. Watch out for the Pirates!
Vocabulary: Pirate dogs are here with riddles! Students listen to descriptions and provide the vocabulary word that is described. Riddles inspired by the book. Play as a card game or board game.
Pronoun Game: Use in conjunction with the generic donut board game provided. If student draws a pink donut card they keep the card and say, “I have a __” and fill in the blank with the object on the card. If they draw a blue donut they give the card away and say, “You have a ___.”
Comprehension: Check comprehension and go beyond the book with this WH ? card game.
