This math craft is a great way to add some winter fun into your math lesson. This product is a fun and easy to use activity. Perfect for back to school after Winter Break! It is ideal for whole or small group when you assemble and solve.
The igloo has 4 different problem solving strategies: 10 frame, Number line, Number bond, and Draw a picture. Students will glue on the ice blocks with the addition or subtraction number sentence to the labeled parts on the igloo to create a flap. They with solve the number sentence under the flap using a problem solving strategy. Igloo pieces have addition to 5, addition to 10, subtraction from 5 and subtraction from 10.
