Product Description
This is a short, fun play version of Book 1 of the Iliad, when Achilles and Agamemnon fight. It begins with Chryses approaching the ships and asking for his daughter back, and includes Apollo killing the Greeks, Achilles summoning Calchas, and Agamemnon and Achilles yelling at each other. It ends with Achilles storming off to his tent. Note: It does not include Thetis praying to Zeus to help the Trojans. Great pre-reading for Book 1, especially if you're using the Prentice Hall World Literature Book. It takes about 15-20 minutes in class.
