It is cold and flu season, my friends!! It is time to remind our kiddos of the importance of preventing the spread of germs in our environments. This presentation has 27 slides and includes links to 13 different videos which will support the concepts that you are teaching.
I purposely made this so that it can be modified by moving and adding and removing slides to fit different age levels. That is one reason I like the PowerPoint format so much! It allows for simple modification to meet the needs of all of your (and my) students.
I have included a simple activity to help students to understand the ways that viruses and bacteria are spread. Additionally, I have included comments regarding videos and ideas for teaching the concepts.
I would schedule 30-45 minutes for this lesson. This lesson is easily customizable and appropriate for both upper primary and intermediate levels.
The PowerPoint includes both animations and transitions to hold your students' interest. It also has a soft musical background fill. Make your lesson come alive for your students and help them to connect to the concept in a fun way that will help them to remember the important lessons you need for them to remember.
If you find a link is not working, please let me know so that I can fix it. I don't control all of the links, and sometimes things happen! : )
I want you to be happy with the product. If you have concerns, please contact me instead of leaving negative comments. If I don’t know what needs to be fixed, I can’t fix it!
Please, play fair. This should only be used as your classroom resource for teaching this lesson. If you want to share, it is not that expensive to purchase a second copy to share.
