Much of my teaching involves a combination of lecturing and storytelling. I have always encouraged my students of all ages to draw or color while they are listening, having seen many times how that helps them stay focused on what I'm saying. Coloring pages from companies like Dover Publications are great for times like that. But recently I've discovered that I can help them focus even without pictures for them to color - when they get to draw their own.
This short little ebook will give you several ideas for helping your students draw their way through history!
