Description

This 5-day read-aloud unit focuses on teaching about getting meaning through the use of illustrations. This read-aloud unit is taught through the use of the picture book I Walk With Vanessa by Kerascoet. You will need a copy of this book for use throughout the unit.


The instructions for each day’s lesson are followed by the corresponding student pages that tie in with each of the daily lessons. Detailed instructions for these pages are included within the daily lesson plans.

This unit contains pieces for an interactive notebook. However, if you do not use interactive notebooks, you can use the pages as printables instead.
