Here you will find meaningful work to give students who finish early.
My classroom goal is to avoid busy work. My rationale is that students who finish early are looking to be pushed and to take their work a little bit further.
There are 11 assignments here to give students many options to choose from. Some are serious, like, "Research and create a display of current events" and some are fun, like "Design an imaginary friend". One of the assignments is silent reading.
Most of these assignments are quite lengthy and are not intended to be completed in one sitting. They are detailed and ask students to put in their best effort for meaningful learning.
You will not find things like wordsearches that are simply designed to keep them seated and quiet. They are mostly language-based to accommodate a wider variety of levels.
*TIP- I recommend going over all of these with your students in advance, then laminating them. Once you have done that, you can put them in a binder, or hanging display pocket in your room so that the students can simply go and help themselves.
Enjoy, and don't forget to rate this product! :)
