Hi Teachers, what do you do when a kiddo who is normally well-behaved acts up? This share sheet might help you figure out what's up. In my classroom I have a "Bee Mellow" table, where students can choose to sit if they need a little extra space, time to take deep breaths when frustrated or a quiet place to work. I keep several resources at the table, including a problem solving wheel, crayons, paper, markers and pencils. I've also added this share sheet for students who would like to tell me about a challenge they are facing at school or at home. Completed share sheets can go in a box (share box) on my desk. Then I can respond in person or in writing to follow up and thank the student for trusting me enough to give me a peek into his or her world. Hope you find this communication tool helpful.
