Writing - Students reflect on the story and draw 2 pictures showing how a plant or animal changes and then write captions for both.

Spelling & HFW - Students read and match the word cards. Then, complete the assignment to practice their words.

Leveled Reader - Students use the LEVELED READER (included with the Reading Street Program) to read and find HFW words. Then they sequence the story.
There is a worksheet for all 3 levels. (Below Level =BL, On Level = OL, Advanced Level = A)

Phonics - Students sort word and picture cards for r-controlled vowel -er, ir, ur. Included are worksheets for this targeted phonics skill and it is differentiated to help meet the needs of all of your students.

Contractions: Students match cards to make contractions and then complete the assignment.

Grammar - Students read sentences and decide which verb (am, is, are, were) fills the blank. Then scan the QR code and see if the student's answer is correct.

Print on card stock, laminate and cut out.
