I hope you enjoy and find useful my digraph unit. The games and centers in this unit focus on ch, sh, th, and wh. The centers are quick to prepare with a color printer, and can be laminated and reused for years.
*Digraph Graph—spin and color the graph for beginning and ending digraph sounds.
*Digraph Write the Room—Students will look for the picture cards, determine the missing digraph, and write the word on their recording sheet.
*Four in a Row—Student will spin the spinner and find a picture on their game board that has the digraph. First player with 4 in a row wins.
*Real Word or Silly Word—Students will spin the 2 spinners to form a digraph word. Students will determine if the word is real or silly and write on recording sheet.
*I’m a Digraph Star—Students will take turn drawing a picture card from a pile, and determining the digraph. Students will place the card on the correct space on their game board. First player to have all spaces covered wins.
*I Can Read Digraphs Like a Rock Star!—Students will read as many digraph containing words as they can in a set time frame. Students will then write some of the words on their recording sheet.
*Digraph Detective—Students will use a hand lens to magnify digraph words and write them on their recording sheet.
*Digraph Dry Erase—Students will fill in the missing digraphs on dry erase cards and write the words on their recording sheet.
