“I’m a Little Snowman” is one of my all time favorite songs! It’s sung to the tune of, “I’m a Little Teapot,” and the kids love doing the actions that go along with it! We sing it over and over again in January when we are learning about the water cycle, winter weather, and Arctic animals. As I teach in a “sun-shine” state, many of my kids have never made a snowman. I bring in “snow” to make a small snowman for us to observe until he melts. It doesn’t take long ... even in January!
I’ve made student booklets that match this adorable song. There are 3 versions, so you can choose to have the kids color my illustrations or draw their own. There is also a color version for you to use or place in the library area. I’ve also included LARGE text for you to use in your pocket chart or on a wall.
“I’m a Little Snowman” is 6 pages long, but with the 3 versions, and the pocket chart text, there are 32 pages in this item.
Common Core Standards: RF.K.1a, RF.K.1b, RF.K.1c, RF.K.2a, RF.K.4
Enjoy this adorable song with your kids .. you’ll be “brrrr ...ery” glad you did!
