Students will use primary sources to analyze the immigrant groups that came to America during the Industrial Revolution (Irish, Chinese, and German). You are provided with 8 pieces of PRIMARY SOURCE EVIDENCE for EACH immigration group (for a total of 24)! These examples include quotes, images, photographs, maps, and political cartoons.
Students will then use their analysis to create "Drawings Home" for each immigration group
Included in this product is a Lesson plan directions, student handout, answer key, and Primary Source Description Cards (24).
The lesson is formatted to allow the teacher's discretion of presenting the information in a Round Robin, Cooperative Learning Groups, or Whole Class based upon the class / student needs. Directions are provided for each.
