PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This worksheet gives students a table of data including the decades between 1820 and 1940 and the number of immigrants that came into the country during that time period. Students are to then construct a line graph including the information to see how high and low the number of immigrants went over time. They are also instructed to give the graph a title and label the axis on their own. There are also 6 questions at the end to summarize what students have learned based on the data they collected and the graph they constructed. Major historical events like the rise of industry and the great depression are mentioned in these questions so students can see how they effected immigration into the country.
