Product Description
There are eight biographies of famous people who were bullied as kids.
Students must:
A) Identify the imperfect verbs in the article
B) Interpret what the article is saying using context clues, cognates, and inference skills
C) Answer 2 comprehension questions in Spanish finding key words in the article.

I usually do this as a walk and write activity where I post the bios around the room and have students choose four to complete. This activity could also be done individually, in pairs, or any other way the teacher thinks would be best. Prior to this activity, students should know the basic structure of imperfect verbs and what they look like (both regular and irregular). The interpreting part is the hardest part so remind students they don't have to be perfect since they won't understand all the words. Lastly, this is a great activity for talking about bullying if that is an issue at your school.
