In this mini-lesson, students choose to be a historical figure from a list, and then answer questions in the imperfect about their lives without telling who they are. A partner then records the answers and makes a guess as to which person the student has chosen. The students practice three imperfect tenses: s/he first writes answers to questions in the 'yo' form, then asks questions in the 'tu' form, and finally reports answers in the 'ell/ella' form.
The students have a good time with this, and it can easily be paired with a Venn diagram (comparing the life activities and using 'nosotros').
Works well with Spanish 2-4, and Realidades 2 4a
