Imperialism Game: Scramble and Conquer!

This is a very fun cooperative learning simulation game to help your students understand the Age of Imperialism!

Each group simulates a different country and must conquer "territory" - which are items in your classroom. The only catch is that the rules are different for each group - just like how some countries like England could conquer so much territory, while others were unprepared for the land scramble.

My classes always have a lot of fun with this and it definitely helps them to understand how certain countries conquered so much land while others like the United States were late to the game.

Includes detailed teacher directions along with 5 sets of student directions for 5 different groups.

This resource can also be downloaded at a discount as part of the COMPLETE Age of Imperialism Unit Bundle!
