This package contains a fast pace improper fraction and mixed number review game in which students have a one minute indoor snowball fight. After printing, this game is ready to play. The pages are designed to use very little ink. Give each student 2-3 of the printed pages to crumble into individual snowballs. Following the rules described below, the students will have a blast throwing snowballs at their friends for one minute. After the snowball fight, each student will get one snowball and go back to their starting position (their seat). One at a time, each student will open their snowball. If an improper fraction is on their snowball, the student should find an equivalent mixed number. If a mixed number is on their snowball, they should find an equivalent improper fraction. After everyone has answered their snowball, it is time for another snowball fight. The snowballs will last though several rounds of play.
This package includes 30 improper fractions and 30 mixed numbers.

SNOWBALL FIGHT RULES: This package includes a snowball fight rules poster. I use two rules when playing this game. 1. Always Walk 2. Aim below the Shoulders. Tell students the consequence if a rule is broken such as: They will sit out the next round or the rest of the game. During this game students are moving and a little noisy, but they LOVE it!!
