Impulse control is an important executive functioning skill that affects all areas of our lives. This handout explains impulse control in parent-friendly language. Please note that this letter does not contain any reference to a specific diagnosis, but the information may be helpful for your students struggling due to ADHD, autism spectrum disorders, and learning disabilities.
