This is a second worksheet with impulse & momentum problems. Each problem is broken into several parts and has its own set of guidelines to help the students organize their work. I use it with my freshman & lower level physics classes, usually as a homework sheet after I have them work on another one in class under my direct supervision. It could be used as a constructed-response or problem-based quiz as well. All the problems are story problems involving people, which I have found typically holds the students' attention better than the boring, neutral language of the standardized test ("a block slides across the floor"). The math-level of the problems is for students who are either in pre-algebra or algebra 1.
