In Flanders Fields (A World War 1 Poetry Analysis)

John McCrae wrote "In Flanders Fields" in 1915 after the Second Battle of Ypres during World War 1. This analysis ties in perfectly to a World War I lesson or a Remembrance Day lesson.

- Draw It activity and key (2 pages)
- background handout that gives more information on the poem, John McCrae, the Second Battle of Ypres, and Remembrance Day (1 page)
