Testing season is ALWAYS difficult! I love trying to find ways to make it a little more fun.
I suggest using 3-5 minutes for each challenge, however, this can be completely up to you! I would recommend placing students in small groups (3-5 students) for each challenge. When I play “In it to Win it” games in my room, I typically have several challenges going at the same time that students can rotate between. If the task is completed, the team gets a point toward their team score. The team with the highest score at the end of all the challenges…WINS!
These activities are all skills based and include a self checking answer key via QR code. I have also included an answer key for the classrooms that do not have enough devices to check QR codes.
**EXTRA Supplies may be needed**
The supplies that you will need in order to complete all 10 challenges are:
--Card stock/laminating (optional) for printing
--Plastic drinking cups (solo cups are great!)
--A box—cereal boxes are recommended.
--String to make a clothesline (optional but super fun!)
--Calculators (optional but suggested due to time constraints.)
