Stop &Think! A lot of emotion management techniques such as do 10 jumping jacks and go to the movies--cannot be done in the midst of the school day. This chart provides the student a list of healthy coping skills (to manage any emotions) that the student can engage in inside and outside of the classroom. It also asks the student if he/she made a good choice. If they did not, the sheet directs the student to assess how they were feeling, what not so good choice they made, and asks them to write a better choice they can make next time. This is a good worksheet to keep handy for students who struggle with emotions such as anger or anxiety and lash out during the school day.
